Pokemon booster box investing is extremely lucrative, but the products you should buy tend to change month-over-month. So, today, I will give you five booster box recommendations for the month of February 2026.

1: Brilliant Stars
I know I say that Pokemon booster box investing gets easier when you put your funds in the top sets, but Brilliant Stars is still a strong option. With a solid Trainer Gallery and Charizard V Alternate Art, the set will undoubtedly reach the $1000 mark over the next 3-5 years.
Brilliant Stars are back to around $575 on TCGPlayer after the correction late last year.
I still believe many of the Alt Art Sword & Shield sets will double in the next 3-4 years as pack attrition continues.
I would not recommend making Brilliant Stars your largest SWSH position, but holding a box or case is a great way to diversify.

2: Paradox Rift
Paradox Rift is generally not a top target for Pokemon booster box investing experts. That said, the box is still only $255 on TCGPlayer and it rotating out of competitive usage in a couple months.
Although the set has easy pull rates that contribute to the lower dollar values of the top chases, it has incredibly artworks like the Groudon and Altaria that will be desirable chases for years to come.
I would expect to see Paradox Rift above $300 USD by the end of the year.

3: Evolving Skies
Evolving Skies has been a staple of Pokemon booster box investing over the past four years. And spoiler, it’s going to continue being a staple Pokemon investment.
Why? It’s one of, if not the best, modern era sets. Considering Team Up booster boxes are now back to all-time highs ($10,000), we can expect Evolving Skies to eventually get there.
I would not be shocked if we see Evolving Skies reach $3500 by the end of 2026.

4: Mega Evolution
Mega Evolution is the best “base” set we have ever received. Although it is already being overshadowed by Phantasmal Flames and Ascended Heroes, Mega Evolution is a much better set than most SV era booster boxes in the same price range.
You also have a very strong box topper promo in the Bulbasaur that is holding strong around $15 USD.
I would expect Mega to have a slower 2026 as it is a newer set, but this this a booster box I’d want exposure to heading into 2027.

5: Surging Sparks
When it comes to Pokemon booster box investing, Surging Sparks is still one of the best opportunities right now. Surging Sparks booster boxes are sitting around $280 on TCGPlayer. The set has recovered incredibly well after the Pokemon vending machine restocks. There are also no listings on TCGPlayer below $285 signaling that the boxes are beginning to dry up.
Surging Sparks is definitely being overshadowed by the dominance of the specialty sets in the Scarlet & Violet era, but it still has very strong chase cards including the Pikachu EX, Latias EX, and Milotic EX special illustration rares. Considering many weaker SV era sets are still $250-$275, Surging Sparks currently seems like great value. We also need to consider that the box is over a year old, is not a top priority reprint anymore, and has already received plenty of ancillary product restocks.
Combine this with the fact that Pokemon is not prioritizing booster box reprints, and we may have a potential $400 box by EOY on our hands.
