A Paradox Rift investment is incomplete without a booster box. With all the options out there for booster box investors, I will list some reasons below why Paradox Rift is a solid choice.

Set Rotation 2026
Every year, the Pokemon Company rotates sets out of competitive play. Since Paradox Rift is part of the “G” block (SV Base – Paldean Fates), it will rotate out next year. Normally when this happens, the set is no longer printed by the Pokemon company. This makes a Paradox Rift reprint unlikely, which also puts a cap on the remaining Paradox Rift booster box quantity out there.
This isn’t the first time I have suggested a Paradox Rift investment. The box showed up in my July booster box recommendation post for many of the same reasons. Since then, the box has moved from $210 to around $250 on TCGPlayer. With the pace at which many boxes are moving, I would not be surprised if we see the box push $280-$300 by the end of the year.
Tons of IRs and SIRs
Paradox Rift is stacked with Illustration Rare cards. Although it is part of the earlier SV block that had easier pull rates, there are still many desirable cards in the set.

This is one of the main reasons people believe a Paradox Rift investment is a good choice. For me, I still believe having expensive top chases is crucial, but considering the price of the box and the potential for some of these cards to run up in the future, I think it’s worth noting.
Comparatively Cheap
Paradox Rift booster boxes are currently $240-$250 USD, depending on where you buy them. At the same time, Obsidian Flames is pushing $290 USD, Temporal Forces and Stellar Crown are pushing $250-$260, and Twilight Masquerade is moving into the $320 range.
Paradox Rift is cheap compared to these sets, many of which it rivals in term of chase card quality.
Conclusion
Even if your Paradox Rift investment does not give you the largest return possible, it still is a great option. The box is going out of rotation, is cheap compared to many other SV era booster boxes, and has many awesome IR cards people will want in the future.
Based on the current market, I wouldn’t be surprised if Paradox Rift booster boxes pass $300 by the end of the year.
