December is a new month, which means the best One Piece booster box investment has changed. Today, I’ll give you five booster box recommendations to buy right now if you are interested in growing your TCG investment portfolio.

1: Carrying on His Will (OP-13)
OP-13 has been out for less than a month and is already lining up the be the best One Piece booster box investment. Currently, the box is sitting around $240 on TCGPlayer.
The demand for this set was obvious, as it is by far the deepest set Bandai has ever released with multiple chase cards worth over $3,000 and the Red Luffy Manga topping $8500.
Obviously, the set is brand new and will likely face a sizeable reprint, but I still think it’s worth getting some exposure to this box and being prepared to dollar cost average over the next 12-18 months.
2: Legacy of the Master (OP-12)
OP-12 is an underrated One Piece booster box investment. Squished between amazing releases like OP-11 and OP-13, the set has gone under the radar for far too long.
Now, there are a couple things I don’t love about OP-12. For example, the Manga card is Jewelry Bonney. Even though Bonney is a cool character, her cards don’t fetch the same price as a Luffy or Zoro. Also, the top chase is a Blackbeard SP, who also isn’t a popular character compared Luffy and friends.
That said, there are still multiple cards over $500, which is a good sign. The set also features many beautiful SPs that add depth to the set.
The set is also drying up very fast in Canada. A month ago, multiple stores were running sales at $130 CAD. Now, you’re lucky to find a box under $160.
Considering the growth we have seen on sets like OP-06 and OP-07, I fully expect this to be a $250-$300 booster box in the future.
3: Emperors in the New World (OP-09)
This shouldn’t be surprising. OP-09 is still a top-3 booster box in One Piece.
I have previously written about OP-09 if you want a deeper explanation as to why this One Piece booster box investment is a no-brainer, but in short, it’s an INCREDIBLY deep set that has expensive chase cards.
Considering where the market is heading, OP-09 is primed to be a $500+ booster box in the future.
4: Awakening of the New Era (OP-05)
Awakening of the New Era has turned out to be a great One Piece booster box investment in 2025. The box has soared up to $600 USD on TCGPlayer with recent sales from today nearing $700. This mainly has to do with the success of the Luffy cards in the set. The Gear 5 Manga is now selling for over $8000 in a PSA 10 and the Luffy Alternate Art is going for over $6000 in a PSA 10.
Outside of this, the set also features Law and Kid mangas, making it the first set in One Piece that had multiple manga cards.
Outside of the Mangas, the set also features many interesting SPs like Nami and Yamato that are rising in price rapidly.
I correctly predicted this box would pass $300 by the end of 2025. That said, even at $600 or more per box, I believe there is still a lot of room for growth on this box and absolutely see it breaking $1000 in the future.

5: A Fist of Divine Speed (OP-11)
OP-11 is one of the best plays out there right now. Currently, the box is going for $180 USD on TCGplayer. During this current boom, we have seen many weaker sets such as OP-06 and OP-07 overtake OP-11 in price. To me, this is ridiculous. If given the option between those 3 at $180, I’m taking OP-11 everyday and twice on Sunday.
Also, considering the Gold Luffy chase card is $3000 raw and going for $6200 in a PSA 10, it is inevitable that this set will reach $500+ in the future.
And yes, I know OP-11 isn’t an S-tier set. However, based on the current market price, this One Piece booster box investment is a no-brainer to get some exposure to.
