In this article, I’m going to tell you the best sites to visit to buy cheap Pokemon cards in 2025.
Let’s begin!
1: Ebay
Ebay has always been the go-to platform for buying collectibles. The feedback and rating systems on sellers give prospective buyers a deep understanding of who they are buying from. Not only that, eBay allows sellers to upload photos of every item, so you, the buyer, can get a better idea on the condition of the card or sealed product you are buying. This coupled with eBay’s 100% money back guarantee, makes eBay a strong contender for the list.
2: TCGPlayer
TCGPlayer is great for individuals looking to buy not only individual cards, but also sealed products like booster boxes or elite trainer boxes. Sellers are required to list the condition of the card they are selling, give you strong reassurance that you’ll be receiving a quality product. TCGPlayer also has graphs on each item being sold, tracking the market price of the items over a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, and 1 year time horizon, helping buyers make informed decisions on their potential investments.
One downside to TCGPlayer is that most listings do not have photos. If you are someone looking to buy a card to send off to PSA or another grading company, it is probably a better idea to buy one on eBay where you can see photos of the exact item you are purchasing.
3: Hobbiesville
Hobbiesville is one of the largest sellers of Pokemon cards in Canada. They also ship to the United States and United Kingdom. Hobbiesville normally have some of the best prices I see compared to their competitors and do a great job packaging larger orders for transport. They’ve also been one of the stores in Canada that have honoured preorder pricing, something many other stores have failed to do, especially with the recent releases on popular sets like Prismatic Evolutions.
4: Pokemon Center
Ah yes, the Pokemon Center. This is Pokemon’s official site, meaning, you are buying directly from Pokemon. Prices will always be at MSRP, never higher, but also never lower. In our current market, this is normally a good thing, as new set releases are often selling for well above this rate.
The downside to buying from the Pokemon Center is that they often do a very poor job packaging items and offer zero customer support or protection. If your item goes missing, or your order was not fulfilled properly, don’t expect a refund.
I hope this list was useful. Thank you for checking out my blog, and I’ll catch you in the next one!
