The Best One Piece Booster Boxes to Invest in

Today I will be talking about some of the best One Piece booster boxes to invest in this year for maximum gains.

OP-05: Awakening of the New Era

The first One Piece booster box you should invest in is OP05. The booster box was a game changer for the One Piece card card, being the first set to feature more than 1 Manga rare. The set also features a Luffy Gold-Stamped Signature card by Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece.

In terms of One Piece booster box investments, OP-05 is an absolute no-brainer. The set ranked third in my YouTube video ranking all One Piece booster boxes.

OP-09: Emperors in the New World

Emperors in the New World is an amazing booster box. Currently, the set contains the most expensive card in the One Piece card game, the Gol.D.Roger Manga rare.

I placed this box in 2nd place in my One Piece booster box investments video. This is because the set is the first mainline One Piece booster box to feature 5 Manga rares (Gol.D.Roger, Luffy, Teach, Shanks, and Buggy). The booster box is already pushing $190 USD on TCGPlayer even though it was only released a few months ago at the end of 2024. If you want to invest in this set, be on the lookout for an OP-09 reprint later in 2025.

PRB-01: Premium Booster

Investing in PRB-01 is a complex discussion. The set is by far the deepest of all the One Piece booster boxes Bandai has released. It contains 10 Manga rare chase cards including the Luffy reprint from OP-05. PRB-01 also contains Golden DON!! cards, which is the first time we have ever seen this gimmick used in the One Piece TCG.

However, one issue I now have with PRB-01 is that it is pushing almost $300 USD on TCGPlayer. The set is incredibly deep, and I still believe it one of the best One Piece booster box investments, but I can’t help but wonder if new investors would be better served going with OP-09 which is almost $100 cheaper.

Ultimately, you can’t go wrong with any of these One Piece booster boxes. All of these sets with desirable chase cards will see appreciation over time, as long as the card game continues seeing success.
