These are the best Pokemon Elite Trainer Box investments for 2025. Sets will be from the SWSH or SV eras.
Prismatic Evolutions
No explanation needed. Prismatic Evolutions is the best set we have gotten since Evolving Skies was released in 2021. With all the Eeveelutions, Roaring Moon, Ceruledge, Master Ball reverse holos, and God Packs, Prismatic Evolutions is by one of the best elite trainer boxes to invest in. The ETB also comes with an amazing Eevee promo card, one of the best from the Scarlet & Violet era that is sure to bring the value of these sealed boxes up over time.

Currently sitting at over $130 USD, we are going to see these boxes continue to climb until reprints come, IF they come. We still haven’t received ETB reprints for many older sets (some of which are on this list) which leads me to believe that Pokemon would rather do reprints in the form of booster bundles or collection boxes.
Either way, this is a set you want to own and one to dollar cost average (DCA) into if reprints do bring the price down.
Crown Zenith
The final yellow-borders set. One of the deepest and most enjoyable opening experiences collectors can have. A two year old set that isn’t going to get more reprints. Currently sitting around $110 USD, Crown Zenith ETBs are a no brainer investment that will continue to be opened for years to come.
With giant chase cards like the Giratina and Mewtwo VSTARs, depth chases like Leafon and Glaceon, and the yellow borders secret rares including Pikachu and Mew, this set is one for the history books.

I’m still buying Crown Zenith ETBs at current market price and believe it has the legs to reach $175 by the end of the year.
Evolving Skies
The greatest set of the modern era, possibly of all time. Evolving Skies is one of the best elite trainer boxes to invest in. Even though Sword & Shield era ETBs did not come with promo cards, the value of the top chase cards in the set including the Umbreon, Leafeon, Sylveon, and Rayquaza VMAXs will be enough to carry this sealed investment for years to come.
The box art also features the Eeveelutions which adds to the collectible value as many fans of the hobby simply enjoy displaying the box.

I would not be surprised to see Evolving Skies ETBs break the $300 mark by the end of 2025.
Paldean Fates
The dark horse of the list. Paldean Fates features some of the best cards from the Scarlet & Violet era including the famous bubble Mew EX, Charizard EX, and Gardevoir EX. The ETB also features a Mimikyu promo card which is one of my favourites from the era.

The ETB is leveling out around $100. The set is less than a year old and should get a reprint, but if it doesn’t, I would not be surprised to see this ETB hit $130-135 by the end of 2025.
Scarlet Violet: 151
The set that brought back so many old collectors. SV 151 features everyone’s favourites. Charizard, Blastoise, Venasaur, Alakazam, Zapdos, Pikachu. The set has them all.

I may be inclined to say that 151 is the best elite trainer box to invest into. Even at nearly $200 USD, the set is nearing two years of age and has never received an ETB reprint. Considering Pokemon is moving more torwards booster bundles and collection boxes from reprints, it’s unlikely we ever see more of these hit the market and the set continues to climb towards $250 by the end of the year, maybe even higher.
Like many of the other ETBs on this list, the sky is the limit.
